The A5 Leather Journal was created to keep your ideas, notes and essentials beautifully organised, wherever life takes you. Crafted from premium vegetable-tanned leather, it balances sophistication with practicality, a tool that looks as good as it performs.

 

Compatible with all Awlma A5 notebooks and some A5 refills, this leather journal can hold up to five notebooks along with loose papers. Its slim, lightweight design makes it ideal for daily use, from your desk to your travels. Over time, the leather develops a rich patina, transforming your journal into a one-of-a-kind piece that reflects your journey.

SUSTAINABILITY

All Awlma brand goods are handcrafted in Portugal by skilled artisans using premium, vegetable-tanned leather.

 

Our hides come from responsible European tanneries and are tanned using natural, plant-based tannins, a traditional, chrome-free process that develops a rich patina and greatly reduces environmental impact. Because our leather is sourced exclusively as a byproduct of the food industry, no animal is ever raised for its hide.

 

We craft by order and avoid overproduction, which means certain variations may occasionally be temporarily unavailable. This slow production approach ensures quality over quantity, and a product built to last for decades, not seasons.

 

For our paper goods, we work only with acid-free, FSC-certified papers sourced from responsibly managed forests. All printing is done in Porto, Portugal, using environmentally conscious methods and materials.
