The NOMAD A5 was designed with a simple purpose: to give you one beautiful place for everything that matters. Your notebook, your ideas, your travel documents, your cards and your daily tools, all protected, organised and ready whenever inspiration strikes.

 

Compatible with standard A5 notebooks, it adapts effortlessly to your workflow. Use it as a travel companion, a daily planner or a creative studio on the go. With its modular layout, you can carry only what you need and evolve its setup over time.

Each NOMAD A5 is crafted by skilled artisans using full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather, a natural, character-rich material that softens, darkens and develops a unique patina through years of use.

SUSTAINABILITY

All Awlma brand goods are handcrafted in Portugal by skilled artisans using premium, vegetable-tanned leather.

 

Our hides come from responsible European tanneries and are tanned using natural, plant-based tannins, a traditional, chrome-free process that develops a rich patina and greatly reduces environmental impact. Because our leather is sourced exclusively as a byproduct of the food industry, no animal is ever raised for its hide.

 

We craft by order and avoid overproduction, which means certain variations may occasionally be temporarily unavailable. This slow production approach ensures quality over quantity, and a product built to last for decades, not seasons.

 

For our paper goods, we work only with acid-free, FSC-certified papers sourced from responsibly managed forests. All printing is done in Porto, Portugal, using environmentally conscious methods and materials.

 

Choosing the NOMAD A5 means valuing craftsmanship, longevity and a more responsible way of creating, one meaningful object at a time.
